My best hope with this project is to create the musical equivalent of a book club — where no one actually has to meet. Or even pretend that they did their homework. The entries will mostly prepare me (and some of you) to attend upcoming live performances in Richmond — but where would the fun be in limiting myself? No specific background or education required. In fact, I don’t plan to do much in the way of research myself — not that I would mind if others chime in. But it’s really about what you hear. And what you might hear after hearing about someone else’s hearing. Simple.
